Pupillage Applications

Students in their final year who plan to practise in Singapore upon graduation will have to apply to the individual law firms for pupillage. UK law students are not subject to a moratorium, as compared to NUS law students who are prohibited from sending in pupillage applications before a certain date (usually in June). As such, below are guidelines to the preferred pupillage application dates for some of the big law firms in Singapore, as well as their projected dates for conducting interviews.

Allen & Gledhill LLP
Pupillage application dates: May till first week of June (after completion of final year exams)
Interviews: Last week of June/ First week of July

For students graduating from Scheduled United Kingdom universities, you should be applying to us after receiving your final transcripts and prior to the commencement of your Graduate Diploma in Singapore Law course at the National University of Singapore. We will contact you to make the necessary interview arrangements with you once you have been shortlisted.
