Message From The Law Society Of England & Wales

The International Directorate of the Law Society of England & Wales represents the international interests of solicitors. This includes matters such as promoting the practice rights of the profession, furthering international human rights, dealing with enquiries, organising international conferences and undertaking inter-professional relations. As reflected by our Directorate's motto, "Serving Solicitors, Law and Justice Internationally", we deal with questions of policy concerning problems of international practice, and relations with foreign Bar Councils and Law Societies. We congratulate the UK Singapore Law Students' Society on the official launch of your website. We support the efforts of your society to provide such useful information and assistance to your members who are studying law in the UK.
